The 29th China International Composites Industry and Technology Exhibition opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on September 1st, 2026. The exhibition was held from September 1st to 3rd. The theme of this year's exhibition is "Thermoplastics, Green Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing: Reaching New Heights in Domestic Production". It is one of the most influential industry events in the global composites field.

Sinpro Fiberglass showcased a variety of products at the exhibition site. The main products are our company's flagship items such as: fiberglass alkaline resistant mesh for reinforcing building materials, self‑adhesive fiberglass drywall tape for repairing wall cracks, fiberglass decorative wallcovering with diverse styles for interior wall decoration, fiberglass woven roving for composite material reinforcement, etc. At the exhibition site, our company's technical and marketing staff had face‑to‑face exchanges and discussions with domestic and foreign customers, industry experts, and upstream and downstream partners. The company's leaders also visited the exhibition in person. During the exhibition we received more than seventy domestic and overseas customers and reached preliminary cooperation intentions with more than a dozen of them.

Sinpro Fiberglass has been deeply involved in the fiberglass materials industry for over 10 years, continuously promoting the R & D of new material technologies and the iteration of processes. In the future, the company will continue to focus on technological innovation, cooperate with all parties in the industrial chain for collaborative innovation, and jointly promote the high‑quality development of fiberglass products.
Background Of Industrial Development
According to the data from the China Composites Industry Association, the output value of China's composites industry will reach 313 billion yuan in 2025, accounting for 38% of the global total; the output will exceed 8 million tons. At present, domestic high‑performance carbon fibers such as T1000 grade have achieved technological breakthroughs. The layout of thermoplastic and bio‑based composites is accelerating, and their applications in fields such as aerospace, wind power, and low‑altitude economy are constantly expanding. China has become an important engine for the global development of the composites industry.
Basic Scale & Introduction Of The Exhibition
The exhibition area of this year's exhibition exceeded 75,000 square meters. As a highly influential composite materials industry event in the Asia‑Pacific region, this year's exhibition has gathered near 1000 of industry enterprises, showcasing the cutting‑edge materials, process equipment, and innovative application achievements in the field of composite materials. Among them, material‑related enterprises accounted for about 39%, equipment‑related enterprises about 29%, product‑related enterprises about 16%, and other supporting service‑related enterprises about 16%. This formed a complete industrial chain closed‑loop from raw materials to equipment and then to end‑products, focusing on cutting‑edge application fields such as aerospace, new energy vehicles, wind, solar, energy storage and hydrogen, rail transit, low‑altitude economy, and AI electronics.
On the first day of the exhibition, the number of visitors entering the venue was 22,974, including 15,350 spectators, among which 1,412 were overseas spectators.
It is reported that since its inception in 1995, the exhibition has evolved from an initial platform for economic and trade negotiations and technology introductions to one of the most influential industry events in the global composites field. It has witnessed and strongly promoted the entire process of China's composites industry from following to keeping pace with, and even leading in some areas globally. Currently, the global composites market is continuously expanding at a nearly double‑digit growth rate. Thermoplastic composites, green recyclable materials, and intelligent manufacturing have become the three core engines driving the high‑quality development of the industry.
Zhao Junshan, the president of the China Composites Industry Association, stated at the opening ceremony and the "CCE‑JEC" Innovation Achievements Release Conference that under the guidance of national policies, China's composites industry has become an important engine for global development. According to incomplete statistics from the association, by 2025, the industry's output value will reach 313 billion yuan, accounting for 38% of the global total, and the output will exceed 8 million tons. Domestic high‑performance carbon fibers such as T1000 grade have achieved technological breakthroughs. The layout of thermoplastic composites and bio‑based composites is accelerating, and their applications in fields such as aerospace, wind power, and low‑altitude economy are constantly expanding. At the same time, the industry still faces challenges such as insufficient supply of high‑end products and dependence on imported key equipment. There is still a long way to go to move towards the middle and high ends of the value chain. In response to the above challenges, he put forward three suggestions: First, adhere to innovation‑driven development and accelerate the achievement of high‑level scientific and technological self‑reliance. Second, adhere to green and low‑carbon development and promote sustainable development. Third, adhere to open cooperation and build a mutually beneficial and win‑win industrial ecosystem.
